The Ron Eyes Trophy

The tournament was played in a good spirit and all the players enjoyed themselves, especially when it was announced that the hot-pot was ready. The food was kindly supplied by the Eyes family and was very much appreciated by all the players and officials on such a cold day.

All participating players received a Ron Eyes tournament medal which were presented by Ron's widow Barbara.

The Eyes family would like to thank everyone that attended the tournament to celebrate Ron's life in particular Dave and Sylvia Graham, the tournament officials and, of course the players who made this day such a success. They hope that this event will be an inspiration to all the junior players that took part and be an incentive for others to take up the sport.
